Concordia University - Austin, TX

For both the existing and new campuses of Concordia University, Chaparral performed a variety of projects between 2012 and 2018. Both directly for Concordia University and as a sub-consultant to a significant planning and engineering business, these projects were performed.

Task assignments in particular included:

• Tree and topographic surveys covering around 2.5 acres. The map displays visible site improvements and utilities, trees with larger-than-8-inch-diameter boles, utility pipe diameters, driveways, and drainage and utility infrastructure next to the site at 1-foot contour intervals. Boundary, site improvements, visible utilities, and easements will be shown on the survey.



• 14 acres, comprising a section of the baseball field, the potential softball field, and the parking area, were the subject of a topographic and tree study. The border, site enhancements, utility visibility, and easements are all included on the map. In preparation for installing fence, Chaparral Professional Land Surveying staked 3,400 linear feet of property boundaries at 200-foot intervals. boundaries and title surveys that showed the site boundaries, site improvements, visible utilities, and easements were part of this assignment. Additionally, the project required locating and positioning boundary corners.

• City of Austin Survey Rotation List:
• 2008 till the present. Over 65 projects were finished for the City of Austin, including surveys for parks, easements, and right-of-ways, as well as water and wastewater design studies.
• Pflugerville Parkway, City of Pflugerville
• Roadway path including both big and small areas for 6 km. We created property and easement descriptions, topographic design surveys, and boundary surveys.
• Heatherwilde Boulevard Roadway and Drainage Improvements
• Heatherwilde (also known as Wilke Lane), in the City of Pflugerville, runs from SH 45 to Kingston Lacy Boulevard.
• Pfenning Lane/Black Locust Roadway Project
• Large and small tracts make up the 6500 l.f. path through the city of Pflugerville.
• Slaughter Lane East Extension
• Travis County TNRS: Topographic surveys for existing conditions maps, design surveys, right-of-way parcel mapping, and transfer to Travis County totaling around 7500 l.f.
• City of Buda Truck Route
• Buda City: 3-mile street stretch with both big and small parcels.
• City of Buda Roadway Improvements
• Street Improvement Projects in the City of Buda's Bonita Vista and Pinafore Subdivisions. Topographic studies for existing conditions maps in existing communities totaling around 9200 l.f.
• Crystal Falls Parkway/Lakeline Blvd. Extension
• City of Cedar Park — Prepared right-of-way parcel descriptions for conveyance and performed topographic surveys totaling around 5000 l.f. for design and existing conditions maps.
• LCRA Segovia Transmission Line
• 12-mile road in Kimble County with substantial properties totaling more than 5,000 acres.
• LCRA Pipe Creek Transmission Line
• 15-mile circuit through Bandera that includes both large and small plots.
• LCRA Colorado River Mapping
• The Gulf of Mexico to Austin. Provided airborne guidance for river basin topography mapping.
• LCRA High Water Mapping
• The Gulf of Mexico to Austin. Provided geodetic guidance and the locations of monuments for historical flood data.
• LCRA Sandy Creek Transmission Line
• 3 miles' worth of design surveys and parcel mapping, including the Llano County sub-station location.
